What this site is
Vancouver Sommelier AI is a free, non-commercial engineering demo built by an individual developer in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the Google for Startups AI Agent Challenge and as a portfolio project. It exists to demonstrate a multi-agent AI architecture.
No products are sold here. We are not a liquor retailer, importer, agent, or licensee, we do not process orders or payments, and we earn no referral, affiliate, or commission revenue from any link shown in an answer. By using this site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
You must be 19 or older
The legal drinking age in British Columbia is 19. This demo discusses alcoholic beverages and is intended only for people of legal drinking age. It is not directed at minors, and nothing here encourages excessive or irresponsible consumption. Please drink responsibly.
Pricing and availability are indicative only
Product, price, and stock information is collected automatically from retailer websites at the moment you ask. It is a point-in-time snapshot and is not authoritative. Prices change, stock counts go stale, listings are withdrawn, and a retailer's own site is always the correct source.

The answers here are generated by large language models. The MCP endpoint
The retailer search tools are also exposed over the Model Context Protocol for interoperability demonstration. The same terms apply to that endpoint: results are indicative, rate limits apply, and it may change or be withdrawn at any time.
Availability
The demo is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. It may be slow, degraded, rate-limited, or offline, and it may be changed or discontinued without notice. Answers depend on third-party retailer sites that can fail or change at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia, the operator of this demo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it or your reliance on anything it produced — including a wasted trip to a store, a price that turned out to be different, a product that was not in stock, a purchase you would not otherwise have made, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act of British Columbia.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change; continuing to use the demo means you accept the updated terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
